A Workforce Development Program is an organized initiative aimed at improving the skills, knowledge, and employability of individuals. These programs provide training, education, and job placement services to help people gain employment, advance in their careers, and meet the demands of the job market. They benefit individuals by enhancing their job prospects, employers by providing a skilled workforce, and communities by supporting economic growth.
Our workforce development programs do offer credentials upon completion. These credentials validate the skills and training acquired, enhancing employability and career advancement opportunities. However, the timeframe and availability of credentials can vary by program, so it’s best to check the specific program details.
To qualify, you typically need to meet specific criteria, which may include: Financial Need, Community Involvement, Personal Attributes, and/or normal application Requirements. The frequency of accepting applicants is on a rolling basis, however, entrance varies by program.
After completing the six month program, all participants have the option to join our Alumni Program to take advantage of continued services and additional programs.
Absolutely! Our programs are designed to provide foundational skills and credentials that be further developed. We encourage you to join our Alumni Program where we will assist in your continued education.
The Rhythm Reach program taught me leadership skills, communication skills and taught me how to budget and understand financial literacy, which was a big plus. I really appreciated that my peers and I could learn and speak our minds without being judged. In the future, I plan to open an automotive career and build my own shop to serve people in need.
