The MusicBreeds Arts HUB is an innovative initiative that aims to create a dynamic learning and workforce development hub centered around music, entrepreneurship, and high-tech skills. This transformative space seeks to achieve multiple objectives: firstly, it will invigorate the workforce efforts of partner school districts by establishing curriculum and experiential connections between schools, the community, and the workplace. Secondly, it will re-connect and re-engage current students and those who have left school, providing them with learning and workforce opportunities that can lead to high-paying careers. Thirdly, it aims to attract business involvement and investment in high-need and high-poverty areas of Long Island, fostering sustainable and expandable workforce development. Finally, this initiative will positively transform the role of schools as integral partners in an economic development engine that includes higher education, business, arts, and technology.
